I'm in Baltimore for this year's Homewbrewers Conference and this was our first breakfast stop that we tried. It turns out it was our only attempt. We are having breakfast here every morning till we leave! The restaurant is small and cozy and the staff was super friendly. So far we've had the Classic Benedict, the Seafood Benedict and one of their breakfast sandwiches. I have celiac so they were happy to put my Benedict on fried potatoes instead of the English muffin. I have to say if I lived here I would eat here so often they would be worried about me if they didn't see me for a few days...

I was recently in Baltimore for a business trip and one morning I decided I didn't want a microwaved sandwich from the hotel cafe. I decided to walk down light street and check out a cafe called "Saturday Morning." Even though it was Thursday, this place hit the spot. As soon as I walked in, Kristen showed me to a seat at the counter and started talking about the seafood benedict. I threw my hands up and said, "done." It sounded amazing. She asked if I wanted hot sauce and I said I did. She said she loved hot sauce on her potatoes and I said that I was from the south and I love hot sauce on everything. We started talking and she used to live near my hometown in Florida. She told me about the city and surrounding areas. It was the kind of personable experience that really makes a trip special. I feel like I got more local flavor chatting her up than I did running back and forth to the convention center all week. The food was delicious. The hollandaise was a little salty but that's the only negative. The crab and shrimp on the benedict were delicious and listening to the wait staff crack jokes with the cooks was hilarious. This morning stop at this cafe was one of the highlights of my time in Baltimore. Check it out!

Tourists pay attention!!!!!! This place is worth the walk of getting out of your hotel and taking a morning stroll for breakfast. Sat at the counter and the special of the morning was seafood eggs Benedict. Delicious savory flavor of the shrimp, the real crab cake and the home made hollandaise sauce was a tasty meal. It beats hotel food any day! It's right off of this little random cobblestone street that has a lot of charm and character. As a street in this touristy neighborhood it was a refreshing setting to come across.

My boyfriend and I stopped into Saturday Morning Cafe to grab a bite to eat during an overnight stay in Baltimore. The cafe is perfectly located just a short walk from the hustle and bustle of the inner harbor. Our waitress, Ghia, was very friendly and attentive. She made sure our table had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. The service was great and quick. We were greeted with a smile by all the staff, and seated right away. In terms of the food, I enjoyed the Baltimore Benedict and my boyfriend had the California Benedict. The crab cake that came with my eggs was flavorful and delicious. The side of fruit came with a dollop of whipped cream. My boyfriend cleaned his plate which I am taking as a good sign he enjoyed his meal! Coffee is bottomless, too. Overall, when we return to Baltimore we would love to return to Saturday Morning Cafe. Cute, quaint neighborhood restaurant with an option for every eater!

Came here on a whim one morning while in MD for work. I saw they had wifi and I needed breakfast, a place to work and some coffee (which is weird because I don't usually drink coffee). I arrived and Ghia and her crew were a warm welcome! They saw I had a laptop and ushered me to the perfect corner spot at the counter. I couldn't decide if I wanted sweet or savory breakfast and Ghia recommended the Chicken and Waffles. It sounded perfect so I went with that and some coffee. The whole crew at Saturday Morning Cafe was an absolute pleasure. An amazing breakfast and some completed work later, I left the place excited that my work in MD got postponed (while I was there no less. Ugh.) It means I get to go back next week when i'm in MD again!

I came here with my family after my convocation ceremony (yay UMSOD!). The red velvet waffles... OMG! Everything was so delicious. And on top of that our server India was super nice. I had lost a letter from my decorated graduation cap and she helped me fix it, so sweet! If I'm ever in Baltimore again this will definitely be on my list! :)

I had 2 Groupons that were set to expire at the end of June 29th. We originally went to Delights by Mina on Charles St., but left without ordering. I'm so glad that Delights didn't work out because we came here. Totally different experience! Our party of four arrived around 12:45pm or so. Chris (or Kris) was our waitress. She was fun and attentive. I asked for a few more minutes when she came to take our orders. There were so many attractive choices on the menu! She came back and we ordered Chicken Fried Steak, Fish and Chips, Cajun Chicken Pasta, and a Burger. My Cajun Chicken Pasta was terrific! Served with four pieces of buttery and crunchy toast surrounding it. It was such a large serving that I took half of it home for another full meal. My father loved the Chicken Fried Steak, one of his fave dishes. He said it was as good as or better than he's ever had it anywhere else. My mother had the burger, loved that it tasted freshly ground. She took half of it home, as well. The fries were great, looked and tasted like fresh cut potatoes. My bro liked his Fish and Chips, too. The Sweet Tea I had was perfect. Chris brought refills without us having to ask. Perfection! All of us said we will definitely return to Saturday Morning Cafe.

Came to Baltimore for a conference & found this gem! Ghia (our waitress) was such a sweetheart and suggested their cornbread as one of my breakfast sides. Talk about amazing! The thick cut bacon was cooked perfectly and the coffee was on point! I will probably be back tomorrow also!:) A home away from home!

Restaurant is nestled right near inner harbor on Water street. The restaurant is black-owned. Me and my boyfriend both ordered chicken and waffles. The service was excellent and the food was even better. The chicken was moist and crispy while the waffles had a nice crunch. Make sure u try the honey mustard with the chicken! The owners and the staff were so awesome and personable. Our server was Gia and as soon as she found out I was graduating she gave me the most heartfelt congratulations and talked to me about her daughter. It felt like a family reunion. Will visit every time I'm in the mood for brunch. Wonderful restaurant.

I just recently moved across from the street from this little treasure and shall probably be spending the bulk of my paycheck there. The staff is friendly, the food is good and fairly priced and the environment feels like you're in Baltimore, not some generic restaurant. My hostess' name (the first time I went) was Kris and she was extraordinarily attentive and friendly. There are so many things I'd like to recommend but I think the California Benedict was the best for me (so far). This restaurant is a must do if you're down in Baltimore for the day, I'll probably see you there.
